I'm a backyard gardener working towards my ultimate goal of having my own land and growing fruits and vegetables for the public. It's a work in progress at this point as i have a full-time career already but someday I hope to achieve it.
It's that old saying, "what do i want to be when i grow up?"...LOL.
I am located in central Oklahoma on red clay soil, most of the time it is like concrete, so i garden in raised beds with a small backyard hobby greenhouse. I grow my own plants and try to be as "natural" as i can without too many chemicals. I do that for me and my family.
As of this year, i built a chicken coop in my backyard and have 4 hens to start plus i have now supplied a farm, ran by a friend of mine, some 50-60 tomato and various other plants to see if it something that could turn into a business venture. We will have to wait and see on that endeavour!
That's a quick hit but some info for now. Please continue visiting the site and I hope to expand it into something more fruitful, i.e. - profitable, down the road.
